In just 2 weeks, my grandma, Nanny, is moving to come live with our family. The master bedroom, where she will be staying, got completely redone! A few weeks ago, I wrote a post about that, but the room is now completely done! So once again, cue the photo dump. (Scroll all the way down for a before/after pic.)
There are some more views of the room- It is nice and spacious!
The bed has a colonial looking frame- I really like it, I think it goes well with the room/house. My mom made all the quilts, and aren’t they gorgeous?
I just love the yellow and red quilt- it is so cheery and fun!
My grandfather made the train. It is so detailed! I love the red caboose and the real coal in the coal car. The train got several ribbons at a fair!
I’d like to pause for a moment to admire these lovely round rocks… Great! You can keep reading now… These are from by the creek, which runs next to our house. My mom loves round rocks, and I do too! It’s always fun to find round rocks.
Poppa made this bench, too. It was in their house for as long as I can remember- it was at their kitchen table by the window, and I always liked to sit there. It looks nice in its new home.
Finally, the moment you’ve all been waiting for….The before/after. I’m astonished at the difference a few weeks can make!
