Strike-Out Tag Challenge!

I love tag challenges…I saw this on Corrie’s blog, Miraculus Homeschool, and she got it from Grace A. Johnson’s blog. I think it will be a lot of fun. Feel free to steal the tag- I’m cool with that! I’d love to read y’alls answers. The list of questions is down below…

The rules for the tag are simple (like, so simple that they don’t have rules): just strike out whichever of the items on the list you’ve done! And you can explain the how, when, and why of it, if you like! And I guess you can tag however many people you want…and link back to the person who tagged you…and have FUN! So here we go!

Kissed someone – Nope, not romantically anyway.

Gone to a rock concert – No, although I want to go to a Skillet concert sometime. I have been to a two concerts- both were for KING & COUNTRY concerts. They were awesome!

Helped someone – Yes! In many ways I think.

Gone fishing – Yes, my dad took me a few times. It was fun to spend time with him and my sister, but the fishing- eh, I could do without.

Watched four movies in one night – No. although I’ve stayed up until 1-2 a.m. watching movies with my brother before!

Lied to someone – If anyone says no to this question, they’re lying…

Failed a subject – I have done badly on tests, but I have never failed a whole subject.

Been in a car accident – Thankfully not, no.

Been in a tsunami – No, and I hopefully never am.

Watched someone die (including pets) – Yes.

Been to a funeral – Yes, I have been to funerals.

Burned yourself – Yup, my cooking usually involves setting off the smoke detector at least once…

Run a marathon – Nope, and I doubt I ever will. I would do a big bike race though.

Spend over 10,000 bucks in one day – Um, no. Definitely not.

Flown on an aeroplane – Yes! I love flying. The whole experience is fun- packing, security, the airport cafes, and the actual flying. And the beverages and snacks…(next time you fly, pick stroopwaffles for your snack thing. They. Are. Amazing. And free. That makes everything better XD) And of course, the actual destination.

Written a 18 page letter (front & back) – No. I’m a terrible pen pal- I can usually manage a 2 page letter, but that’s about it. What would you even write about??

Gone skiing – YES! I love skiing! I’m hoping to go again this winter with my sisters.

Lost someone you loved – Yes, “in more ways than one” as Grace put it.

Got into trouble for something you didn’t do – Yes. I can’t think of anything specific, but I definitely have.

Stolen a book from a library – Stolen is a strong word. “Kept for more than 6 weeks” would be a better way to put that, since that is exactly what I did. I forgot that I had brought it home, so I didn’t remember to take it back.

Gone to a different country – Nope, not even to Canada.

Gambled in a casino – I’m not even 18…or maybe you have to be 21…so I couldn’t even get in a casino. Anyway, no I haven’t and I don’t ever intend to, even when I am old enough.

Been in a school play –

Taken a lie detector test – No, but that actually sounds kind of fun!

Voted for someone on a reality TV show – Nope, I’m not a huge fan of reality TV.

Read more than 20 books a year – Y’all, I read like 20 books a month. That’s easy!

Gone to Europe – No, but I would love to go to Paris or Scotland someday!

Had a surgery – Nope, and I hope I never have to.

Had stitches – Nope. I kind of have a fear of getting hurt…So I don’t generally do things that could be potentially life threatening, lol.

Ridden a tuk-tuk (autorickshaw) – No. That sounds REALLY fun though- I would love to someday!

Had more than 5 IM conversations going on at once – Nope, I don’t have social media.

Been in a fist fight – No…

Had a pet – Yes! I have had multiple cats, a dog, and fish. The only pets I have now are a cat (Millie) and 8 fish.

Petted a wild animal – Yes? I mean, I’ve caught like little lizards, and I petted deer at the fair a few years ago. I think that counts!

Had your own credit card & bought something with it – Nope.

Dyed your hair – No, although I want to sometime!

Got a tattoo – Nope, and I don’t plan on it. I feel like I would get buyer’s remorse…or tattoo remorse, anyway.

Had something pierced – I got my ears pierced at the boardwalk two years ago. I’m not going to get any more piercings, though. I’m good with just earrings lol!

Got a straight A – Yup! Last year in Bible and history. We’ll see how this year goes…

Taken pictures with a webcam – Nope.

Gone to sleep with music on – Yes, I frequently listen to music while I fall asleep. That doesn’t bother me. I did once fall asleep with earbuds in, and they got all tangled up. That was annoying haha!
